Thread: What is your opinion about the fee charged by Xbox Live?

I think there is nothing wrong in the fee charged by the Xbox Live to play multiplayer gaming. What is your opinion?

I hated paying it but they provided an excellent online services so I see nothing wrong with it. You can really see a difference between the free PSN network and paid Xbox live online services. XBL really is much better.

Of-course there is no problem with the small fee that they're charging people, but there is a little problem for students, if you're out of job or going to college that $50 could help you put towards an expensive book that you plan on buying. That is why Ps3 is better for college/university students to save more bucks in their pockets.

XBL is a good service and worth the small fee

If all gamers feel that XBL is a great online service then it should be definitely said that it is worth the fee it demands. But then, considering the opinion voiced out by a friend here, yes, it will be difficult for the college-going student to afford paying it for sure.

Well fee charge is mutual. especially if the product is really high demand on market well to play a multiplayer on xbox live isnt it bad to pay some does it will gave you experienced at all.

I think they should take the fee away and offer online pay features to get there money.
If the service was free there would be many more people on Xbox Live. Then they could have all sorts of paid downloadable content like the iTunes store.
I think this would be a better route to go.

Well basically that was the reality of online games. especialy muliplayer and for xbox i think this is fair because the games really rocks.

I know several people that switched to PS3 because the PSN is free.

I think there shouldn't be a difference between PSN and XBL, due to the fact that PSN is less active and most game servers are bad. XBL you pay for what you get and you should be proud of it.
