Default What is a "Lag Switch"?

What is a lag switch and why would someone have it online?

It will either stop their connection or crowd it so much that it prevents people from playing. If you are a host in a game then you can use it and you will be the only one who can move for a short time.

If you are looking for one I suggest Net Tools 5. With it you go to UCP Flooder and make the IP 27.27.27.27 and then copy/paste data in the second box for 30 seconds.

I agree with Colour. Google Net Tools 5 and you will find the lag switch.

Lag switches are extremely annoying and they just anger many players. If I were you I would not get one just because they ruin the experience for other players.

It's designed to take advantage of the biggest flaw of gaming without a dedicated host.

If a player who is not hosting starts to lag, the match remains uninterrupted for everyone else.

When they turn it on they effectively turn off their internet temporarily. They can also walk around the map even though they are not connected anymore. They will appear frozen in place to everyone else and they cannot be shot because there is no connection. When they turn the lag switch back on they will teleport to the location they walked to while not connected.

This essentially enables them to teleport. There are ways that microsoft could get rid of this such as immediately kicking someone from a match as soon as they lose their connection but they don't really care about people doing this kind of stuff since they've already gotten the money out of their players who have already purchased 360's. All they care about is money.

The other style is to have a tool that floods their connection so they cannot transmit any player location and hit registration info but can still move around client-side.
