Start with Morrowind and slowly integrate into the world.
You could start with the first Elder Scrolls but you would give up as soon as you start cause of the graphics.

Me neither. I still use my 512mb RAM comp sometimes and play old games.

Yeah. It depends what game tbh. I have to admit some games that i loved look a lot worse now after this many years
