I would stay away from j tags because that could get your xbox banned and I would do it with someone you trust rather than a anonymous seller on ebay.

You wont get scammed on eBay when your buying Jtags. This is where a lot of people seem to sell their Jtags and their full of legit people. If you want to be sure, I would look at the rating of the seller and see what other people who purchased items from the same seller said.

I can't see how a trusted seller could sell you something modded and still stay within the buyer protections because it has been altered from factory standard.

Yes, they do sell JTAG Xbox's on ebay. But usally they are very over priced and low quality JTAG's. They usally don't come with the packages you would get if you would install one yourself.
