Use a PS3 controller on the 360
This is pretty cool. I think the PS3 controller is vastly superior to the 360 controller.

Yes the response time is the same. It's about 140 bucks.

Re: Use a PS3 controller on the 360
140 bucks is pretty expensive huh? I'm much more used to a ps3 controller than the xbox ones but all my friends have xboxs so this could be pretty useful. Still I'm pretty unconvinced because of the high price...

Re: Use a PS3 controller on the 360
I personally love the 360 controller more for FPS as it's just more form-fitting to the hand. The PS3 controller is small and not as comfortable.
But yeah, pretty nifty device, but I could of swore there's a bunch of these things out there that do the same thing but for much cheaper.
Yeah did a simple google search and found a bunch for around $30-60, so yeah you can easily buy one of these for a fair price. The only reason I'd say the one listed by Omar is probably being sold by some random guy who doesn't know how to price stuff properly.
Anyways check the results here: xbox 360 to ps3 converter
If you want a PS3 to Xbox 360 converter, just do another search with the PS3 controller converter to Xbox 360. Etc. Hope that helps.Last edited by Bremaine; 11-10-2011 at 01:59 PM.

Re: Use a PS3 controller on the 360
Better looking maybe, but the controller is a lot less intuitive to use IMHO. The design is over 15 years old now.. I also find the Xbox 360 controller is a lot more comfortable to use for longer periods of time.
Quite a cool bit of tech though, I wasn't aware that something like that existed. I recently gave a dead Xbox controller to a friend, because he wanted to try gutting it and putting some PS3 controller parts into it.

Re: Use a PS3 controller on the 360
Again, boils down to personal preference I suppose. I hardly used the analogue on the dual shock controller because it felt like I had to stretch slightly to use it. The Xbox 360 pad has it in just the right place (where the d-pad of the PS2 is).
Agreed, the Xbox 360 pad's d-pad is really bad, but then again I never used it (again, the positioning felt a lot less comfortable to use anyway). Although I haven't tried the updated transforming one, so perhaps they've even fixed that now too.Automated Ad: I will Get Strong 500 EDU BackLinks for Your Website for $20
