Thread: my xbox is 2 hot

Can anyone point me a right direction to make my xbox's temperature stay in safe? almost 80 degree.

perhaps the console is too dirty,haha.you can clean it,especially the cool fan,or change a new one which buy from our sites

How do you know it is 80 degrees? Get a back fan cooler. Take it out of any cubby holes you have in your entertainment system and set it on top of something, in the open air.

Then let it rest for an hour or so. Are you playing 24 hours straight?

Well, if you know for a fact that it's too hot then the first thing you should do is clean it. Now, it all depends on how much work you're willing to put in, if you want to fully clean it then take the cover off and blow it out with an air compressor. If not, just blow it out through the vents. If that doesn't work I would recommend buying a cooling pad, they retail for about $30.00 if ALL ELSE fails take it into a shop and have them mod the fan, that makes it so it cools the console better. The fan combined with the cooling pad will do the trick.

Try to play in more shorter intervals mate, or just take it to service.

Definitely clean it and Put it where there is air circulation. My iPod always gets hot when I play it lots. Don't keep it hot for too long.

You can buy a cooler add-on for it but I recommend simply having it in an area where the vents and fans can get proper ventilation.

Cleaning it to get rid of dust will help also but it will void your warranty if you open up your 360.

Try getting a big house fan, and put it beside your xbox , it will help alot!
