If you get a game that is originally 4.38gb and wbfs trasfers to drive at 0.68gb is this ok?

Yes its normal, almost 90% of the time its just extra data. You should be able to play it normally. Example: Super Mario All Stars as an iso file is 4.38gb but when scrubbed (wbfs format) its just 10mb. So no prob its normal!
