Thread: WoW for iPad

A friend of mine said he read somewhere that WoW is gonna be made for iPad. Any proofs on that? I couldnt find anyhting about it x(

you are not playing on your ipad , i think it's just streaming from the pc to the ipad and you can control the PC from the ipad as it was shown in the video as gekidan said before how can an i pad handle the WoW graphics.

Kinda like controlling the PC remotely? Via team viewer perhaps.

They are a little late to be making WoW for the iPad... Behind schedule. I doubt it is true but I'd certainly buy it and begin playing WoW again if so.

Yea they only way to use WoW on an iPad currently would be to connect to a computer. They have a service called gaikai that can do that
there is another one, cant remember the name.

They both need flash though, so still a no go.

But you could connect your iPad to computer using the TeamVeiwer app
and play like that. Cause flash isn't on iPad.

So that makes it hard to use it. A friend of mine says he uses the app called iswifter to access flash capabilities.

It connects to a server with flash.

But it would be incredibly slow to connect to gaikai that way, considering you would be connecting through 2 servers.

There are too many key bindings to control with the ipads simple controls, i doubt it will be possible.

@Luke You can always get a keyboard for the iPad and make it in a laptop, basically.
