Thread: Angry Birds is Overrated.

Since everyone in the nation was raving about Angry birds, I thought I'd check it out.

Angry Birds is Overrated.

It is on the same level as Farmville and Cityville. Lame game for old people and non-gamers.

Angry birds requires very little skill and very little interaction. You swipe your finger back, let go. Sometimes you tap your finger to explode the birds into 3 or speed up but.. seriously? This is not a gamers game. This is an old lady or some girl that has never played before.

I do agree that it's over rated. But saying that it's not a gamers game is a bit of a stretch.
I mean, even though it's a flash game, it's still a game that everyone could enjoy, and what it is supposed to be. Maybe you are just used to on high end games...

It isn't a hardcore gamers game, I'll go that far.

I agree, it is kinda lame and boring after just a couple of levels but a lot of the world loves angry birds right now so we must embrace it.

I absolutely agree with the OP.
I think Angry Birds is terribly overrated. Rovio has so much merchandise and advertising on the iPhone game.
I find the game actually really boring. My parents bought the game and are addicted but it's not my type of game. After failing a few times the game becomes a chore and is tedious to play. It's not a game I'd be addicted to and I definitely wouldn't recommend it. To me, Angry Birds is like Tiny Tower. It's overrated and popular but it's a horrible game to play.

Finally, one good thread about Angry Birds. It seems such a lame , lazy game. Only good if you want to waste time, or have fun in group maybe.

Well, he clearly stated this game is overrated. The same thing happens with Farmville, all those cities and etc. A huge waste of time and energy with nothing to gain. That so called 'fun' disappears after a while and it's not enjoyable anymore. But well...it's just my opinion.

Maybe you are just not a fan of those flash games. Right?

The first one was novel, however now that they have made around 4 different versions it is getting very old. It would be ok if they added something new each time but they are all the same! And because they are the same I wonder why people keep downloading, playing and rating them 5 stars!
