StarCraft II Terran SCV Play Tip - Faster Building

I found this cool tip on another forum and thought I would share it:

Once your base is up and running, select 4-6 workers and put them in a control group. Then any time you want something built, just hit the number key you've assigned for the group and shift click what you want built. Then shift right click the minerals. What this will do is assign only as many workers as needed to the building and then they'll return to working.

So, it is basically like the method blizzard implemented on Warcraft ? Many workers can build 1 building ? In warcraft, it took additional resources if a building is built by many workers, how about SCII ?
