Thread: When did you first get into Runescape?

I had just one account for nearly five months. And, then a friend convinced me to start a new members account, paid. He went on to do other things and we don't hang out but the account is still active. Occasionally, i login to the other account and use for various reasons. Still not sure if i will keep it members level or take it back to free to play. If only cause i'm not benefiting from membership on that account enough to justify paying. I don't use member level armor so why pay when i can't wear it at my combat level?

Well, can you trade stuff from your first account onto your second or something like that?

Actually most people with multiple accounts do this, though you usually need a person as the go-between to take your stuff and trade it back to you. Though one guy i know finds a super secret spot in Runescape, like on top floor of the bank and then drops stuff and logs out instantly and logs back in on his other account and picks it up. Only bad thing about that is you have to get back quick to make sure your stuff doesn't vanish. Personally, i'd want to test it out on some cheap item before dropping rune or dragon armor on the floor and then hoping it's there when i get back.

Then having a friend in game that you trust who you could trade the stuff to, who would then give to you when you log back in is your only option.

Yeah that's true. But only real life friends, I wouldn't trust anyone from game.

True. You would have to be very careful who you picked to do that. Sometimes you can find a reliable person as 'go between' to trade. Real life friends are usually reliable enough, assuming they actually know what to do in game to trade you. That's why it's good to recruit real life friends into game, so you have someone to game with and trust in situations like this.
