So if you know any good one can you please help?

I dont have children yet.
But i plan on letting them roam free.
No restrictions.
Like i had when i was little, which is why i am so smart now.
When parents restrict children, they learn things later then they should.

fair enough but you still should restrict them from watching porn and WOW is too addicting for most so you may want to restrict them at least to playing time. It is good for children to learn about things later in some cases as they are more mature and can handle any side effects that come along with it
Also wrong section

Well yeah, my comment was from a decent indian parent point of view....
.lol, indian children must get 90's in school..... its a fact of life
also about the world of warcraft thing, its a pay to play game..... and if the parent doesnt pay.... child doesnt play...... unless your stupid and give your children an allowance which is the stupidest thing ever!
Everything is the parents fault, if you dont care that your child is gaming for 9 hours stright in grade 5..... he/she is obviously going to be an addict.Last edited by Thatguywhy; 06-18-2011 at 11:58 PM.

I am not a parent since I'm only 18. Anyway thats not the point.
If you dont want your children to watch porn sites then you can simple block it in your router settings. But there you need to know the sites URL and such. And I dont know if this will works if not its a wireless I havent got anything else the last years.
And about WoW. Every game can be addictive. But I think you are thinking on WoW because it cost so much. You can just say they are not allowed to play it.
And if you really want to watch out for your kid. Then you can create a offline keylogger which just save what you are typing and saving a file on youe computer and by that way watch everything that your kid does on the computer. But this method is a little psychotic, and a stupid way because then they dont have privacy.

A lot of on-line games are pretty addictive, good multiplayer means a lot of fans all around the gaming world. Maybe you should just let the children know, that they also can enjoy simple things to feel entertained.
As for pron - too much things that are restricted may cause deviant behavior, cause, you know, that apple is swet enough, if you know what i mean

Indeed, if we stop children from playing games, they will find other places, like cyvercafe to get access to the games. But, as a parent, no one wants his child to be addicted to playing games. So it's better to limit the playing time. Try Internet filter or family keylogger, they are frequently used by parents. And my neighbor who uses keylogger to stop his boy from sharing nude pictures with his friends thinks highly of the parental control software.

I wouldn't want my child to be exposed to too much of time consuming MMO, but I don't know about pornography. What can you do really? Nothing much. We were all exposed to pornography of some sort when we were young.
