Yes, my cousin has a hacked one.. I think you just install a custom firmware.

Yes, they can be hacked but you need an older one.

It's not that hard really. You just have to follow few basic steps to install a custom firmware on your hand held console and you'll be on your way to playing down-loadable games.

Pirate games, I'm sure, is illegal.

Yea pirate games is obvious. I'm just wondering cause I think apple had something like that too.

you can mod the software (just install a new operating system on it) or you can change the casing if you undo the screws underneath the battery
