Thread: I pre-ordered the Playstation Move

I went to Gamestop today and pre-ordered the Playstation Move bundle and an extra motion controller. The guys that work there told me I need to pre-order because they will get a set amount and probably will not receive any more for months to come. I wasn't expecting them to be that in demand but you never know. The PS3 was sold out for what seemed like ages.

The bundle is only $100 and an extra motion controller is $25. Not bad really when you think about the 360 kinect being $150.

I'm excited. It is going to be cool.

I'll be going to pick it up today. I plan on leaving work early just for this reason.

How do you like it?

At first, it pissed me off. I couldn't get the Playstation Move to react to my movements properly and when I raised my arms it would go out of the Eye View. This is because I barely have enough space in my living room from the Eye to where I stand to reach 8 feet. The instructions say not to move the Eye up/down and just leave it facing straight. After some playing around, I did point the eye slightly up and that resolved all of my issues. I could now raise my arm to aim high and it worked.

Then I started playing. I played straight through the Bronze and most of the Silver with the Sports Championship Archery game. The game is so addicting and it is really fun to compete against the computer. Really fun.

I dulled with my brother in-law. He had a blast.

My Wife and I played Tumblr against each other, it was pure fun.

I haven't played the Move as much as I'd like but what I have played I love it. I can't wait to play a FPS.

Do you have any comparization to the Wii? Is it worse, better or basically the same?

sounds relly good i like how you dident go by the rules and move the cam any way. might have to buy one
