It's for sure one of the best RPGs. One of the reasons being there is an underlying theme about life in it. The main director of the game had his mother die during production and in an interview he mentioned that influenced the plot development.

First time hearing about that. So this means that Aerith represents his mother?

My friend and I are playing VII right now. Aerith kind of represents her mother but she is not as powerful. What I meant was the real life director of the game had that experience. Did you find it yet? You simply press the action button by the ladder and search underground several times for the harp. You're close to the big cutscene in the game and the end of disc 1, I won't spoil it for you though.

What is the Lunar Harp for?

The Lunar Harp lets go through the Sleeping Forest and to the Forgotten Capital after that... Your only choice is to "dig it up" by excavation in Bone Village.
Please let me tell you what I think about this game.. As it's the first I have ever played when I was 5.. and I played it for about 4-5 years before completing it, it remains the greatest gaming experience I've ever had! I remember looking for the Keystone for about 2 months before finding Dio's "office" in Gold Saucer! So.. no Internet, no walkthroughs, just thinking and thinking again.. That's what gaming is all about!
