After a quick stop to Wikipedia, i saw that Playstation 2 has had over 150 million unit of systems sold while Nintendo Wii has only around 70 million so as we can see Playstation 2 has more than double of what Wii has sold.. I think the Playstation 2 whill continue to be the best selling console for a long time, of course i can be wrong.

PS2 is still being sold 10 years after its initial release (released in Japan in the year 2000). Game Studios are still developing new games for the console. The Wii has a long way to go.

playstation 2 is still the best selling console in the world. wii has a long way to go before it reaches the same position as playstation2 .even the nintendo ds surpasses the wii in terms of sellings
here are some statistics that i gathered from around the net:
PlayStation 2:145.4 million
Nintendo DS :128.9 million
Game Boy and Game Boy Color:118.69 million
PlayStation1:102.49 million
Game Boy Advance:81.47 million
