Do you think they need to change the controller design this time?

I think it should stay the same. Well one thing I'd like changed is the shoulder buttons [L2][R2]. I preferred the Dual Shock 2 controller over the dual shock 3 controller. I don't like how the buttons are. Other than that I hope they keep the overall design the same as the past controllers because they work.

I agree that the Dual Shock 2 controller was certainly better, hopefully they will return to this design for the PS4, although i doubt they will.

They haven't come out with this yet have they? Thought it would be next year some time. And yeah i think they would change the controller somewhat, some improvements, can't have the same thing every time.

I think it should change a little bit, especially the positions of the analogue sticks. Maybe a bit like the Xbox's, so it's comfier. The buttons shouldn't change though. Hopefully a little bit different.

Even during the PS1 days, I rarely use the analog sticks. I don't know why but it's kinda hard to control your characters using it... Originally Posted by Ewan
