Thread: Jurassic Park The Game

I was so excited to get this game. I have a general love for the movies. So once i heard this game was coming out, I knew I had to get it.

Well, I must have been dreaming. The game is not good at all. Should have left it on the store shelf. Hated the whole story line of it. Must say I will rate it as a 4.

Have you played it yet? What do you give it?

I liked the movies, but usually games after movies are shit.

I haven't played it yet. I loved the movies but probably won't get it now due to the bad ratings. Like dravenSt0rm said above, most movies into games turn out terrible. Usually the storlyline doesn't work because the game developers don'r want to make it feel too much like the film, and it makes it bad in the process.

I could have told you not to get the game and I've only seen a few screenshots and half of a trailer. It didn't look good at all and it didn't really give me the feel of a true Jurassic Park game.

Ehh.. Movies modeled from games are boring like they said. Perhaps the game would appeal to little kids but even with the mentioning of the word dinosaur, i completely just blind myself from the game. If they follow up on it, that'll be a waste of money spent on production.

Heard that this turned out poorly, that's a shame. Telltale usually makes good games so it's too bad that they missed the mark with this one. Their track record is pretty good otherwise though so Im sure they'll bounce back.

I was so excited when I saw your post title as I love Jurassic Park - but after reading your comments I will give it a miss! So disappointing. I love dinosaurs - we need a decent dino game where you can play as a dinosaur and eat people lol
