Awww! LOL! Little girls have a lot of complex thoughts going on up there in the brain and no one gives them credit for it. Sometimes these simple games won't suffice.

Had she tried the baking games? Those are somewhat more complex and require numerous steps to perfect. Maybe that would be a nice variation.

My kid also likes are the online time management games such as cake mania and beauty salon where you have to take care of all the customers before time runs out. It's not so simple as dressing up a character and requires a great deal of concentration. Your niece might like those too when she gets a little bit older. They're usually free to play online though I think they might have an expanded paid game available for most.

It's so much different now than when i was a kid. I was the only girl i knew that actually bothered to play video games. Now it's different. It's OK for girls to game and that seems normal. I like the trend. Gaming can be fun and educational and certainly equalizing.

I might not own the systems now, but my friends (locally in my social circle) do and they are more than generous with me when i wanna play. Especially lately that i have expressed more of an interest. Actually i think my guy friends much prefer gaming with a girl.
