What do you think about the chromebook? I honestly think it's kind of pointless.

My friend got one when they first introduced them.
It is a computer, to be exact it is netbook that is running on Chrome Operating System.Automated Ad: I will write a quality convincing product/site review of about 300-400 words for $16

I think the chromebooks are pointless. It's a modified version of the browser to look like an actual OS when it isn't. It's just the browser and browser addons and widgets to make you think it's a completely new OS. I wouldn't trust saving any sort of documents on a chromebook, I don't think they are at all secure and I wouldn't use it. IF the hardware itself was good, I'd just end up wiping the "ChromeOS" (LOL....OS my ass....) off of it and replacing it with a true Linux distro like Ubuntu or Mint.
