Thread: Minecraft (Amazingly Addictive)

A friend of mine advised me to play Terraria, is it as good as Minecraft?
Yep, Minecraft is an awesome game, extremly addictive.

I have not played this game in a long time, but I just started again today. So much has changed with new mobs and weather and all that stuff. I now need to re-learn all the old stuff and still master the new parts of the game.

Love Minecraft, especially the paid version, not just free classic. So many things you can add in, especially like Spider Queen mod. Have not tried it personally but got to see some game play videos of that. Can't wait to try it out.

I thought Minecraft had no free to play version.

It has, but it's so limited compared to the payed that it hurts a bit.

Yup! They do. Free classic Minecraft. Outdated but fun! You can only build though, no survival mode. No chance of dying. Also, you can't craft or mine. So not as good.

Since i posted that i have played with the new (not classic) Minecraft and yes it rocks!

Yeah. The updates actually make the game more fun to play. Casual gamers can still play with the classic mode, surviving, building, digging, like they did in the alpha version, and players who want adventure get something to rave about with every update. I once got to a skeleton riding a spider, and I thought it was a glitch, but then I posted in on forums and they said it is actually a mob but a very rare one. Lol!
The Dragon at The End is pretty awesome too.

Dragon? Wow, I definitely should try this.

This is a nice one!! Have it but never played it except 2-3 times.
