There are many PC games which are better than Mass effect-2
Some of them are, Counter strike, CoD (call of duty), EA sports Cricket 2010, halo 3, etc..
Liking of game will depend on your taste..

Type doesn't matter. Mass Effect 2 was good and I didn't want people to suggest it again.

StarCraft 2 is the only one I am really waiting for at this time well I am also curious about Diablo 3 as well, the list of good pc games is quite long with me.

Honestly, you can try MapleStory its like mario side scrolling game, really addicting. If you don't like that, try Counter Striek, it's an FPS and addicting also.
