Thread: Did you get anything during the Steam sale?

Well as the title says, did you guys get anything during the sale? I personally have been saving up money and got Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, Fallout 3 GOTY, Doom 3 and Resurrection of Evil, Alien Breed 2 (Free), Killing Floor and the Steampunk DLC, and Garry's Mod. What about you guys?

i haven't bought anything, it's ended ?!?! i've tried to play Team fortress 2 , it was free in this steam sale i don't know if it is now, but my laptop couldn't run so i gave up, i was intending to buy race07 on steam but something else came along and i run out of money.

Today is the last day of the summer sale and TF2 is free FOREVER.

Also, I got Magicka (with all the DLC), the Summer Shades for TF2, the Lonely Cruise for Magicka and Alien Breed 2 (even tho I have the game on 360 and I think it's terrible)

Yes! Bought my friend Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Kotor for myself. I love the steam deals, It is so awesome how they do this. I plan to buy another copy of BBC2 for another account. Love steam for this!

Yes! Battlefield Bad Company 2. Would have bought more if I actully had money to waste, but sadly I don't Oh well, theres a summer next year also!(If the earth doesnt get destroyed).

I never heard of the Steam game sale. One thing about Steam I've heard of is their new DotA 2 game that they are releasing soon. This is a re-make of the original DotA from Warcraft 3 and could be a big hit.

I bought myself another gift copy of Battle Field Bad Company 2. I gave it to a friend for her birthday since she like FPS games. That's pretty much the only game I bought really.

Why a remake? Isn't DotA released a few years ago?

In the dark, it really looks like you're shooting and killing people. Very creepy and surreal for first person shooter.
