Thread: Anyone ever make their own games?

The only experience I have with making games is through RPG maker and Gamemaker software. These are for complete noobs with most of the work already done. My rpg games were simple 16 bit type sprites with a truly epic storyline consisting of ebonics dialogue yo.

I've taken classes on it and I have a degree in the field but no I havn't made one as of yet. it's too difficult finding TRULY DEDICATED people. I learned that in class the hard way.

No but i'd like to make my own games because currently i've been playing games on kongregate and they've been keeping me interested.
Since i'm so into graphics and coding i thought i could make my own game but with good graphics and since i'm so young i could hopefully use this as a presentation if i were ever to get into a job with graphics design or gaming.

I've made a few games in the past, haven't made any in a while. I used to be involved in the creation and administration of an online browser based RPG which did quite well for a while before it finally died for various reasons. I've been looking at getting back into my programming hobby and making some Facebook games, and possibly some kind of strategy game would be fun to make as well.

I tried to make some small games, but found it too hard lol. It is very interesting stuff.

No, Not yet but i am still eager to have this great skill and idea to make a sense and a good game.

I like game making, I'm not very good at it but it's still fun
