Is it true the 3DS is coming out next year, not this year?

From what I have seen it will be coming out next year sometime although that could probably change if needed.

If at all, what do you need a 3D nintendo for? But nonetheless, I'm sure that you can't set any specific dates yet. That really depends on nintendos calculations, for example they take longer to release it(+ produce it) when they see that many people want to buy one. And they might not have chinese distributors for specific components yet etc

The purpose for the 3DS is of course to improve the gaming experience of players that is also why why are bring back some games from the past that everyone has been waiting for. The graphics are pretty amazing if i do say so myself and the games they announced are gonna be great. All consoles upgrade as time goes so it's no surprise that something like this has happened now.

Are the graphcis really that great? I wasn't too impressed of nintendogs I'd be more interested in a few good 3D PC games, even if you have to play them with glasses.

Some of the games for it look like actually console graphics in a way so I would say the graphics are pretty good.

I've read about the 3ds on a few blogs and it really got my attention. Do you guys know more about it? like an estimated price or something...

They still have not released all the info about the 3DS so we still have to wait awhile to know more I say they would probably release more info when the release date is decided.

AFAIK they did it the same with the DS, like releasing the info as soon as a release date is set.

It depends how quick the development is, you never know, they might find no errors once its finished.
