Thread: The best version of gameboy?

What do you think the best version of gameboy was and why? For me it's a tie between the Gameboy Pocket and the GBA SP. I liked the pocket for it's size but I liked the GBA SP for it's folding function, it paved the way for the DS in a sense and was small enough to also fit in your pocket nicely.

The Game Boy Advance where I played the best games of my childhood like Pokemon Ruby and all Yu-Gi-Oh's. There are many more games that I could add, tho.

The Game Boy Advance was a little bulky in my opinion and left a huge outline in your pocket. As stated in the opening thread, the Game Boy SP was small and portable. It could fold in half and I liked the feel to it. Of course if you had overly large hands I guess you wouldn't really like the Game Boy SP much.

I'd have to say the GBA since it had the best games. The DS was cool but the games weren't all that great. The 3DS doesn't look very good at all.

Advance. I used to play many games on it, but best is pokemon.

Original Gameboy Color because it was one of the first portable systems I had, but had the most fun with the GBA (pokemon = REplay after replay)

I agree GBA was a bit big and unstable in the pocket (just like my.. never mind... ), but it still had the best games as draven and Omar say.

Man, I used to play Pokemon Fire Red for hours, that was really amazing game. Never finished it though.

Pokemon Ruby was the best for me. Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Academy and some funny RPG games too.

I just installed GBA Emu on my htc, started playing Pokemon Fire Red. Awesome.
