Ocarina of time is one of the best Nintendo music soundtracks. Why do you guys say Pokemon Stadium has the best music? Doesn't a lot of the music derive from the Gameboy series?

Nice thread. My favorite Nintendo song would have to be Gourmet Race from the Kirby games. I like how the music starts slowly like Fountain of Dreams but moves to the early crescendo of an electric guitar. Also, the music is totally awesome when you're playing a video game with a pink puffball in it. I'm not a crazy Kirby fan but I've got to say this is one great song. I also like a lot of Pokemon songs. Some of them are really good.

My vote goes to the Kirby soundtracks. They are far better than the Mario themes imo.

My vote for worst game soundtrack goes to the most recent sonic games.

I think all the sound tracks from Contra on NES were exceptional in their time. I remember I had also recorded a video of me playing the music of "Stage 1 Jungle" on my guitar, but I can't seem to find the video now.

Also, the Super Mario sound track is possibly the most recognizable track in the entire world. Hell, I believe that even aliens are going to recognize it if we play the sound track when humans will meet aliens for the first time!
