Wii = Too Childish?

Family gaming is a good way to put it. Actually the commercials usually show a mom/daughter or father/son duo playing the games, laughing and having fun. They're trying to give the impression that everyone of all ages can enjoy.

Just to give an analogy of how that's not always true, the shows i watch with my own kid are nothing like what i'd really be interested in seeing if she weren't in the room.

I like watching Dexter, but no way i'd let my kid see that. Just saying, sometimes parents curtail their own gaming enjoyment for their children's sake. That's silly. Get the kids the Wii, get yourself a Playstation or Nintendo.

My daughter doesn't like sharing her computer with me, so i woudl imagine she will feel the same way about the Wii.

Some kids like the more convoluted brain games. Others are more interested in dress up games. Guess it just depends on the child.

Though i think an adult would prefer more thrills than the ones you find in kiddie games.

Call of Duty isn't any good? I have a friend who plays. He says it's OK. I have played it a couple times at his house. I didn't know younger kids were playing though. I just assumed it was too violent. You mean teens though, right? Yeah, they do like those kind of games.

I don't have any experience in playing CoD. The last FPS I played is Counter Strike.
Well, I got a friend who says that CoD can make someone intelligent while CS is a game for the dumb. :|

It is an ok game but definetely not one of my favorites.
