Thread: Kinect or Wii?

I'm deciding to purchase a Wii or the Kinect. Thing is, I already have an Xbox 360 so the Kinect will be really cheap for me. On the other hand, though, I have a lot of little kids in the house and Nintendo Wii seems to be more kid friendly than a lot of the Xbox games.

So what do you all think? Should I buy the Xbox 360 Kinect extension, or go for the Wii? Which is better, and more hassle-free?

Since you already have an Xbox, I would suggest going for the Kinect, so that you don't have to buy a new console entirely. In terms of graphics, Xbox games are better than Wii. The Wii games have the same generic graphics that they used on the N64. In terms of kid-friendliness, I think they are equally good.

Definitely go with the Kinect. It is the newer hardware and if you already have an Xbox 360, it is worth the extra $100. You can do a lot more with the Kinect then you can with the Wii and they are adding better game everyday. For example I love the voice control aspect of the Kinect.

Definitely Kinect for me. The Wii is great but the Kinect is amazing.

Kinect, but only because you already have 360. I think I would personally go with Wii for that kind of fun.

Wii is too childish if you ask me. I would rather play Tetris than Wii. Although FIFA for Wii was good and fun too.

Well don't exaggregate so much Sure 360 and PS3 are better than Wii but you are underrating it so much it hurts.
