I got Kinect on release and it is great if you are playing with friends and family but not as great if you are playing on your own. The accuracy on it many complain about but I found that if you take time to set it up corrently using the setup then you shouldn't get any problems unless someone gets in the way.

btw kinect can be used as a simulation platform for virtual reality, scientists are going after them.
