Thread: Is kinect any good?

I've seen kinect in shops last week and i was wondering if it's any good. Has any of you got it yet? and if yes is it like wii or different?

I haven't got it...but I had the occasion to test it at a friend of mine...it purely awesome!! It's really easy to get used to it and it's way better than wii.

yeah better than a wii thats like saying HIV is better than Aids, no offence intended. yeah its a good idea but it will only be able to play arcade games on it. so if you like arcade games then get it but all the good arcade games and characters are already on nintendo and the wii so i would get a wii

When I play video games, I like to press buttons and have something solid to hold on to. Enough said.

have you actualy tried it tho ? cause i was a sceptical as anyone else, but after playing with my freind it was actualy alot of fun

I tried it once at my cousins, it's kinda cool, but I still prefer the normal gaming. It's not like it's super high tech gaming or anything, it's just something that Microsoft thought they should use, so they did.

I am surprised they caught on so quick. Kindle was a joke for a long time and now they are coming to their market.

I own a Xbox and I've use Kinket. It is an amazing gaming experiance.

only good for 5-10 year olds.

Really bad concept. There will never be any shooter games for it.

It seems pretty cool but it's definitely for the younger age group. I don't think teens and up could have as much fun as a younger child.
