    Default Hitman: Contracts (3)

My favourite game from my childhood is Hitman. Now I will make a small review for Hitman Contracts, or as many say- Hitman 3, but it is not official third part.

Hitman: Contracts is a stealth game, developed by IO Interactive. The game is the third game of the Hitman video game series, released on April 20, 2004. It is the sequel to Hitman 2: Silent Assassin. The game features recreations of four levels from Hitman: Codename 47. The storyline intertwines between two missions in its sequel, Hitman: Blood Money.

Game is apsolutely amazing, and I will not take any other review into this, so I will write it all alone, because I know everything that must be known from this game.So..............

I will start from thing that makes this game so great.
Best thing from this game is that you can beat levels in so many ways not only one, and this gives the game so much excitement.Every level you can beat like Mass Murderer, Slayer or Silent Assassin. It depends on how many people you killed or how many allerts you have.

If you want to understand game story, then you must play all parts of the Series.

First mission in "Contracts" is called "Asylum Afermath", and this is mission where you are in some Asylum in Romania, and need to run away from SWAT team and Hospital staff,so you can beat mission in SA rating by taking clothes from some Pacient and just get out from hospital, sit in Mercedes and drive off.

Second Mission, time when Agent 47 goes back to work, also in Romania, and mission is called "The Meat King's Party".Mission is also simple as you just need to silently kill two targets, one fat scum that cannot move and one party guest that is sleeping. Also you need to take proof of murder of one young girl, and that is just as easy as nothing.

Third Mission, "The Bjarkhov Bomb" is situated in some place in Syberia,Russia.
You start in plane, and immediately kill first target, then take some kind of train and go to one submarine and kill second target very easy, take 3 bombs,go to other submarine, plant bombs, trigger remote control and blow up the submarine, then just go to plane and that is it.

"Beldingford Manor" is fourth mission,it is somewhere in England, where you must kill father and his son, and release one guy from stable.Mission is in someways hard coz of very high number of guard patrolling with shotguns and Glock 17s,so first you need to poison whiskey and give it to son,he will die, than just go into father's room, and kill him with pillow.
Then you just need to go to stable and free prisoner. That is it.

Fifth mission called "Rendezvous in Rotterdam" is very easy mission where you just need to sedate one journalist, take his clothes go to bartender he will show you way to main target,go to target's room, give him money,he will turn you back, you strangle him, take your money, take some objectives picture from safe,go to basement, turn on electricity in one room, and that will kill your second target, then just escape, and you are done.

Mission Six: "Deadly Cargo",mission which is also in Rotterdam, main target is some maniac in ship, you can dress as SWAT,go to ship, strangle target and get out,it is that easy.

Mission Seven is called "Traditions of the Trade" and it is situated in hotel "Galar" in Bucharest, you need to kill one guy that is in sauna by turning heat to the end,and other is having shower,so you just need to strangle him.Third objective is to retreive one nuclear bomb from third floor and exit.Simple isn't it?!

Next mission is "Slaying a Dragon".My time to beat mission is less than 01:30 on SA rating ,and I can post screenshot if you want. You start with WA2000 sniper rifle in suitcase,go to one platform, shoot one chineze guy, exit, that is it.

9th mission's name is "The Wang Fou Incident".There are many targets in this misison so be careful, but bomb which is hidden in mission will do the trick.Sedate chauffeur, take his clothes, plant bomb in car, blow it when it is near exit, that will kill all targets except two other. When you kill them, take sniper,go to second floor, take out other two targets with one hit, exit, and you're done.

Tenth mission- "The Seafood Massacre is easy if you have experience but hard if you are newbie to this game. You need to kill Red Dragon negotiator, put him in sewers, take his amulet,go to restaurant kill Blue Lotus negotiator and chief of police, plant amulet on table, exit, and that is it for beating the mission.

Eleventh mission is "The Lee Hong Assassination", and it is also in Hong Kong like previous 3.Very hard mission even for experienced players,so, you need to kill Lee Hong, usually with poison, take safe combination from one whore girl, free agent Smith from basement, and with safe combination find right safe(there are many in mission), take figurine from safe, exit and you are finished this mission. It sounds simple in my explanation, but believe me,it is not.

Last but not the least mission is "Hunter and Hunted".Wounded, trapped and without guns; the situation looks bleak for 47 as a well-informed detective closes in on the assassin. With the his hotel being assaulted by French SWAT teams, the question is whether 47 can escape the onslaught and still finish his original mission, and the answer is yes,and also in SA rating. You need to exit from hotel from roof, kill one policeman, take his clothes, sneak around target, kill him,and escape, but beware, there are many SWAT guys with MP5s and SPAS 12 shotguns, and there are also snipers on the roof carrying PGM snipers which are best sniper in game and it is only in this mission just like MP5.

    Hunter and Hunted Loading Screen

This is simple mission guide, and if you want from me detailed walkthrough, just PM me,and I will be very happy to help you.
By completing missions in SA rating there are some secret weapons to obtain:

    Asylum Aftermath:-----------------------Dual CZ2000s
    The Meat King's Party:-----------------Dual UZIs
    The Bjarkhov Bomb:---------------------Dual Silenced Silverballers
    Beldingford Manor:-----------------------Dual Magnum 500s
    Rendezvous in Rotterdam:------------Dual Sawn-Offs
    Deadly Cargo:-----------------------------Silenced M4 Carbine
    Traditions of the Trade:-----------------Dual SG220s
    Slaying a Dragon:------------------------Silenced MP5
    The Wang Fou Incident:---------------Silenced AK-74
    The Seafood Massacre:---------------Dual Glock 17s
The Lee Hong Assassination:-------Dual Silenced UZIs
    Hunter and Hunted:---------------------Silenced PGM sniper

There is also one big secret in first mission, and I will tell you if you don't know or if you care.
When you play "The Wang Fou Incident" mission, you go to mansion and on the second floor on the desk is one card.Take it,finish mission,go to first mission, and you will have that card in inventory,go to room that is locked where some lunatic pacient have Minigun, open doors, kill pacient and take Minigun, also few doors forward you will notice one doors that are also locked when you don't have card, open it and you will find Dual Gold Desert Eagles. That is it.

    Here are some hints:

SWAT teams are heavily armored and armed so you need to shot in head to kill with one bullet

Depending on the situation it might be better to walk and avoid attracting attention,or you can run,and hope no one notices you.If one approach isn't working, try second one.

People are less likely to notice that something's miss if you're in low light, or complete darkness.

Get away from people. You'll almost always give yourself away if you get too close, and people are surprisingly unobservant when you're a long way away,so why risk?

Always save before you do anything that might go wrong.

You can aim easier from first person than third.

It's a good idea to explore the level thoroughly, there are lot of secrets in game.

If something's marked on your map,it's there for a good reason. In my experience,if you can't figure out what is it,it generally does something important,so take your time to figure out what is that.

Game Requirements are very low, so almost everyone will be able to play it on their computers:

    Minimum System Requirements
System:Pentium III 800 or Athlon equivalent or equivalent
    RAM:256 MB
    Video Memory:32 MB
    Hard Drive Space:2000 MB
    Other:100% DirectX 8 -compatible mouse and keyboard; 100% DirectX 8-compatible 32MB 3D Accelerated Card

    Recommended System Requirements
System:Pentium 4 1.6GHz or Athlon XP equivalent or equivalent
    RAM:256 MB
    Video Memory:64 MB
    Hard Drive Space:2000 MB

    And of course ratings:

    Gamespot-7.6
    IGN-8.4
    GameFAQs-7.9

Well,I think this is all that can be explained from this game, and if you need anything related to game, just send me a PM and I will reply immediately. Thanks

Its an impressive review, but I disagree with your assessment that its the best of the series. Contracts is a sort of remake of the first Codename 47. Several of the missions are almost exactly as the first game, although there are some new missions as well.

Blood Money is my favorite of the series so far. I liked the extra items they introduced, like the coin and fire extinguishers and the ability to push people over ledges.
I really enjoyed Codename 47, as it was unique when it came out, and there were no saves available, so you had to play well to finish a mission. Also, you weren't allowed to take out everybody, or you would fail the mission.

I hated Hitman 2 because of the ability to just run through the game guns a blazing, with no stealth required.

Well, if you followed the story you should know that hitman contracts really is a agent 47's memories from codename 47. Thanks btw. Yeah, I agree that BM has the best ways of killing or gameplay, but contracts story and that darkness is really great atmosphere.

Meh, I never got into the Hitman games. I would always play the first few levels and then quit.
They seemed interesting enough and I liked all the different settings for the levels, but I never got used to the game play.
Never had the patience to sneak around everywhere and I would always die when i tried to tank my way through my pistols.
