Why do you ask? For some devices fat32 is standard.

Most USB Flash drives are fat32. Cause of the encryption and it's compatibility.
Fat32 is compatible with Windows, Unix and Mac systems. NTFS isn't..

New Technology File System(NTFS) is best to be secure to the partition. It is best store large amounts of data.

Fat32 has billions and billions of tools for the storage devices. As a standard all USB all should be in FAT32. ExFAT is an expremental version, that out does NTFS. However it is very unstable. NTFS is
for video editing, because of the 4gig file size limitation of FAT32. If you edit video on FAT32. I am talking about DIGITAL FILM which has a stupid resolution size, you will work in chunks.

NTFS elminates that. However the NTFS also has it's share of problems.

If you ever plan to have a file on your computer that is over 3.99 gigs then you will need to use
NTFS, or go to Unix. Unix is the AT&T old type of OS, that is basically DOS ( meaning you can run DOS programs in a UNIX enviorment ), but it can handle extremly big file types and read more then one processor.

I would use FAT32 becuase I know my data is far more secured. NTFS is another possibilities but the tools are limited. Almost all hard drive tools are meant for FAT32. If I was running Windows
2000, XP, NT, Vista, VII, VIII, I would use NTFS because the OS is pointless with a FAT32.

You take photographs, you will want NTFS because nowadays such files will exceed 3.99 gigs.
