need help
I am currently upgrading with: MSI P67A-GD53 Intel P67
4GB (1x4GB) DDR3 1333MHz Single Channel Kit
2nd Generation Intel® Core™ i5 2500K 3.30GHz Socket LGA1155
its dont support movies.
Embarrassingly my current GC is a Nvidia Geforce 9600gt.
I have been doing some research and the Radeon HD 5870 and the GTX 480 look good. However the much cheaper HD 5850 also looks pretty decent. I don't need blu-ray movies or 4d cinema and whatever i just want to play games like Crysis 2 and Battlefield 3 at as high a setting as possible. My question is which of these cards is the best value for money. Is it worth the upgrade to a 5870 or is the GTX 480 better. Or is there a better option?
Cheers for the advice

Re: need help
Radeon 5870 definitely. If you consider price and gaming performance. That's my personal opinion, you should consult others, too.

Re: need help
Definitely good cards for HD movies and older games but, to be honest, Crysis 2 and Battlefield 3 are out of their league. Look up the recommended requirements for the games and make an informed decision there. For both games and your setup, I would recommend this:
SAPPHIRE AMD Radeon HD 6750 1GB
A little expensive and over the top but worth it for those games. I use a 6850 1GB and it suits be just fine for both games.
