For me- SATA. I recommend you 1TB if you have money, but 640GB or 500GB Minimum.

There are a lot of misconceptions made among misinformed consumers when buying a gaming PC.

The most important thing to consider is brand of course. If you aren't going to buy your own or pay for someone to build you one, never go with crap brands like HP but instead with more credible companies like Asus who actually put quality parts into their machines.

The rule of thumb when it comes to hardware is that your machine is only as fast as it's slowest component. Even if you have an awesome graphics card or two, an awesome CPU and awesome memory, if you throw in a piece of crap hard drive in there your machine will still run slow despite all the awesome hardware. Never skimp on quality to save a buck or two.

It doesn't matter how awesome your GPU is, if your CPU and RAM are slow then your games will run like crap. They are a much higher priority than a GPU. Games run on your CPU first and your GPU second.

well, if you have GPU from 2001, doesn't matter if you have 36 cored CPU, but the game won't even run mate.
