Thread: Where do you stand on used games?

I buy some games used because maybe I wouldn't pay the entire new-box price or I know i am not very heavily invested in that game. i also buy used games for game titles I can't borrow for anybody. And some used games I buy because I want a hard boot disc for re-installation and online versions can disappear or get bugged.

Opinions?

I'll buy them used from time to time, but never from gamestop, they don't know jack about taking ten seconds to see that a game works, and despite taking ID for people who give them used games that turn out to be broken, they never name and shame the bastards.

Probably you can try on ebay.. As it has almost everythging on sale !!

Yup, go for games on ebay, but make sure that you can sitll use the game...

I always go the brand new games, not the used ones

i love buying 2nd hand games but ea are being annoying with there new system of haveing to pay extra to play online if you bought the game 2nd hand

Ive never bought a used game in case they dont work. Id prefer getting them brand new.

I buy all games used. Why pay full price for anything? I even trade in games if possible.

in our local town there is a seccond hand media store, everyone goes there its the best by far, they buy and sell stuff. good shop

I prefer to buy new ones because I am scared to buy used. I never have any good luck with them.
