Thread: What games did you grow up with?

What games did you grow up with? When you were bored, or during a rainy day which games did you like to play? For me it was Goldeneye, and other N64 games. They made time a whole lot more fun. How about you?

Super Mario this is the firs one that comes to mind when I think of the video games back in my childhood.

Bunches of real old games, but mostly cause that's what my parents could afford, old game tech so i played things like Super mario, Legend of Zelda (early Nintendo).

I liked Pacman arcade too

Contra, super Mario bros, metroid and Zelda are all some of my childhood favorites.

Somehow, I never got into Zelda games. Dunno why.

I suspect that my age puts my first games a bit before yours. I loved the dizzy games on the spectrum. I played them non-stop through my earliest years.

Then when I grew up a bit more, I couldn't stop playing Sonic, and Street Fighter II on the Sega Megadrive (or Genesis)

Assuming being 17 still counts as childhood, my ultimate game (and it's one I still play now, 15 years later) is Final Fantasy VII on the playstation.

They're OK, not the best. There was a strong questing element to the game, at least the one i played. Maybe that's why you didn't like it.
