Thread: What do you think of the Prince of Persia Movie?

Do you think the Prince of Persia movie with Jake Gyllenhaal will be any good? I hoping this may be one of the good ones. It sounds like they did it differently and didn't bring all the fake moves found in the game to the movies and actually made it real life like.

Think it will be good or another bomb?

I honestly think that it could work however the actors these days don't seem to have much motivation and emotion in their roles in my opinion. Of course there are some that actually play it well but there is also the issue of the actual story itself if that is not liked by fans of the series then it is fucked in the end.

Jake Gyllenhaal certainly fits the role the way they dressed him up and made him look. I still think of Brokeback Mountain when I see him and it makes me disgusted. lol

Anyway, I think the movie might actually be good. I read that they were not using many strings to do moves so the moves are actually what a real person *could* do. Prince of Persia has a great story line anyway.

Did not ever see Brokeback Mountain, but am familiar with the plot. So i guess i might like Prince of Persia. LOL! Another fan of the movie accidentally ruined the surprise in the story for me though. So i'd be watching already knowing some of the plot twists. Still will rent when possible though now it's an older movie.

I didn't watched it. I don't really have time for that.

Pretty much the same here. The two hours i took off to watch TV (when i had contemplated watching this movie) were a rarity. Even now, i wonder when i will have spare time to watch.

When i was a kid, i could spend hours watching TV.

Now i'd rather be online in game or working.

Always something to do, either online or offline. Where did all my TV time go, i wonder.

My TV in room is broken for two months now, I didn't even bothered to repair. :/

I've seen the movie at the cinema some time ago....it was pretty good. A roommate of mine loved it though, we even got the movie poster on our door.

Is it connected to the game?

When i first moved into my current house, there was a big TV left by previous owner. I felt very lucky to have that. Then it broke and i don't know if i have money to fix. Thankfully, we have the small TV. And, that seems to suffice. Many times, i just watch Netflix streaming or Hulu on my computer monitor as it is flat panel and very wide; good resolution, so nice for watching shows.
