Thread: What is the best sword or weapon for Skyrim?

I'm playing Skyrim and it is awesome!

What is the best weapon or sword that I can get? What does the most damage?

its actually very hard to determine the BEST skyrim weapon due to the fact that enchantments can change anything about a weapon, this article gives some insight into that

However, some of the best craftable weapons are the deadric weapons.

I always use battle axes and I'm more than happy.

I like more to shoot from distance, with bows. If you ask me, I also like axes. Heavy, slow but with more damage. Awesome.

I use bows and daggers on my sneak class, easy kills.
But on my main, I use one handed and destruction magic, thats the almost standard way to play the game :P

Its a bit to early for me to compare weapons but I have one handed sword and some magic in the other hand. I like the fire thingy.

Massive damage is always a nice option.

Yes. I like that style. But I prefer bows.

So you like to range them? I'm always impressed by the damage range can cause but somehow never master the art of range in game. So that's why i go for melee. Massive damage, up close contact. It's all good.

I like to shoot from distance. In rpgs I use bows, in shooters I use long range Assault rifles or Snipers without bolt action. I prefer Clips.
