Thread: What are the benefits of playing games?

For me the benefits of playing games (console or MMORPG) would be relaxation and fun. I work a lot at writing, blogs and posting on my own forum and i need a break from that so i play games and hang out with my friends online. Also, online games like MMORPG give me a chance to meet new friends and talk and as i'm already a very social person that makes me very happy.

I would agree with you. The benefits are relaxation and fun.
Though sometimes it can really get annoying and I'm pissed of sometime when I get killed, and such.

Yeah, that could be bothersome. What game do you play, btw?

In Runescape, my goal is to get killed as many times as possible in pvp situations and clan wars, so that i can see how long i can last against high level players. Testing oneself against a higher level player in game using no food and only melee skills and prayer is a good way to level up fast. It helps you learn new melee techniques.

I don't play any games at the moment.
I mostly play Counter Strike 1.6
So when I get killed by a noob I'm really pissed of. Cause I really know to play it good.

I am pissed off often. Because I play games alot.

I hate when I lead whole race and 100 meters from finishline I hit a tree or something like that, and finish last. [alt+f4]

Oh yes. That's the worst thing ever.

No, that can't be good.

Hate it when people call me noob in Runescape. I'm level 79 combat and most of my combat skills are very high by comparison. I can beat a level 96 without food. Though that's not the worst trash talk to suffer in that game. lol

Main benefit is that you don't need to study if you play games.
