Re: Graphics vs Story
But usually when you're playing these games, they are top of the line, best quality for that time. And, only later you look at the earlier games and realize how inferior they are. Though some people really do love playing the classic games, especially earlier releases in a game series such as Resident Evil or Grand Theft Auto.

Re: Graphics vs Story
Yeah, that's true. Some classic games we all played when we were young.

Re: Graphics vs Story
Sometimes nostalgia, sometimes we play them just because of pure brilliance in the storyline. I enjoy many old games just as much as I can enjoy some hc graphics today.

Re: Graphics vs Story
I care for both. I don't like modern games with a shitty graphics. But the story is important also.

Re: Graphics vs Story
Yeah, i might say that story line is of paramount importance but without superior graphics, i'm going to feel cheated like i paid too much money for a game and got cheated. Game publishers can do better. Superior graphics should be the standard not exception. And, of course, a good backstory, storyline and excellent characterizations should be there too for the game to be good.
