No. Not anymore. At least not for awhile. However, occasionally if i'm at the bookstore and see a magazine with some good reviews on upcoming games, i will purchase.

Mostly though I get my gaming information from game themed TV shows on the ROKU channels and online.

Nope. I haven't for a while now too. Ever since I got hip to the internet its been the end of magazines to me. They are too slow and by the time you read them you already know most of the info/news and all you have are the exclusive stories and articles and sometimes those aren't good.

Same with the posts above. I don't buy magazines specifically for games only, however I do buy those Otaku magazines which are general magazines that caters to modern pop culture and have portions for anime, manga, latest technology and of course games. That way the money I spend is worth it since I get to read all the stuff I'm interested in on a single magazine.

I used to be subscribed to Game Informer because they used to actually be a very good magazine and that was how I got all my gaming news before I had internet.

However, their recent issues contain a bunch of obviously sponsored reviews and biased garbage. Nothing appealing there. I lump them in with IGN and Gamespot in the pile of crappy major gaming news syndicates that are corrupt.

I only bought a single game related magazine when I saw a new Star Wars game which makes me curious about it. I'm not really a big gamer myself, only a casual gamer, so I don't really need one.

I hate it when the magazines and TV shows sell us out like that. They're so obviously getting paid big bucks. Like we are not paying enough money with magazine subscriptions and issue prices?

Of course they are paid to write about that. But by the publication companies, not the game publishers. Besides, if they are not careful, some reviews may sound really biased.
