Favorite Developer

Who is your favorite developer? I think mine would have to be EA. I am not really sure why. I guess the games they develop are just decent for the most part.

So tell me who your favorite is. And if you have a reason as to why they are your favorite.

I guess I see what you mean. I realize they are a publisher, but I guess I feel that they are pretty similar. Okay so I guess I should have worded it who is your favorite developer or publisher? How is that?

I don't care about developers or publishers as long as the game is good. I prefer EA, Rockstar, Blizzard, UBISOFT, etc.

hmmm Eidos (Though Square Enix bought them), Electronic Arts (EA), BioWare, Blizzard, Activision, Ubisoft, Rockstar, Valve etc.

Let's clear some things up first:

Developer = The ones who make the game.

Publisher = The ones who pay the developers to make the game and the ones who market/distribute it.

My favorite developer is Valve because they don't revolve their business around money first, gamers second. They actually do great things for gaming and their games are always superb in their own way.

Second favorite is Tripwire Interactive for similar reasons and my 3rd fav is pretty much every indie dev.

I used to like Blizzard but their merger with Activision has resulted in some not so favorable decisions made by them as of late.

Yea my Top 5 Devs have been pointed out before being:

5. Gearbox Software
4. Bungie Studios
3. EA DICE (Though recently they have given me reason to think otherwise)
2. BioWare Studios
1. Valve Softworks

It has to be BioWare for me. A lot of my favorite games have been from Bioware. The Mass Effect and Dragon Age series, for example. Second would be Bethesda, I just loved Fallout and TES!
