What do you think of Hardcore Weekend on Gears of War 3? Love it? Hate it?

I hate Hardcore mode. I thought it would be awesome since I am a shotgunner but it is not. When everyone is using the shotgun, it just sucks. People run close for close combat and you get double teamed.

With no alternate guns on the maps, people do not run to certain spots like they do in regular games and everyone is kinda huddled up. I also really like to lance people before I run to shotgun them in normal games but the lancer is gone.

I hate it.

I thought it was a good idea behind it, but it didn't turn out like i thought it would.

Like mkl said, when everyone is using the shotgun, it loses its real benefits.
