Playing 2k11 on hall of fame difficulty in the my player mode. Ended the game shooting 18% and 10 turnovers in like 20 minutes of playtime. It was the first time I played the game with the new passing mechanisms. It was bad

Ages ago, on the original Mortal Kombat against my cousin. It was the first time I played and he'd had the game for several months. I didn't know any of the controls but he had his character's fatalities memorized. Needless to say, not only did he get a Flawless Victory but he also did a Fatality on me.

I remember losing 20 staight battles in Tekken 6 some time ago and when I first started playing counter strike back in the day, I was a complete noob getting killed within 10 secs in the game.

Considering how much I like the Sid Meier's Civilization series now, it's hard for me to admit that one of my first attempts to play the original 1991 MS-DOS based game ended within five minutes. I had no idea that Barbarians would show up so soon in the game and I had left my capital city (and sole city, at that) without so much as a warrior in it. That was pretty dumb, I think.

In Star Wars flight sims I never do too well. My X-Wings get shot down fairly easily and early into battles with the Empire. I do way better in traditional flight sims.

Never underestimate the power of the dark side ...er, I mean, the very young! Kids are amazingly sharp and grasp gaming concepts early, especially if they grow up with a computer in the house.

Still, I feel your pain! I would have felt some chagrin at being beaten by anyone younger than me at a game when I was in my 20s, too!
