Re: Vampire movies
Yep. Vampires are my favorite paranormal creature. I like both types of vampires, the "love story" ones and the ones that rip you to shred once the sun goes down.

Re: Vampire movies
OMG! Yes! Thank you. Finally someone other than myself would dare say this outloud.

Not like True Blood which is WAY MORE sexual. It's not for tweenies and teenies who made Twilight popular.
Agreed that Twilight sucks. But no thanks on the rest, too much information.
So, then basically like real life where the girl chooses the wrong guy cause he's hot?
Yeah, there are plenty of bastards like that in real life who will treat a woman like crap and still she crawls back for more. No happy endings to that.
Have you seen BloodSone: Subspecies? Purely B quality vampires and none of them are pretty. Well, the girl is OK looking. LOL! But the real vampire is hideous. It's set in Romania which makes the idea more believable rather than sunny funny LA.
I liked Dracula (1992). The vampire was not pretty but he was all grown up, not a teen and though not overly attractive, he had a magnetic charm that could draw people to him, like Svengali. It was some kind of spell. I liked the very authentic looking costumes and places. At it's heart, this was a love story, like real old fashioned love. Like the kind that burns deep for eternity and survives death. That concept is very alluring to me.Last edited by Dardaigh; 09-07-2011 at 01:36 AM.
