I never thought of that as many years I played Mario, who would have thought that the cover could anticipate that kind of event.

Oddly enough I think i actually owned this particular game. Not new of course, but picked it up used for my game system back in the nineties. That was used too.

Pretty cool find. I haven't noticed that.
Mario only have 3 lives, unless you get 1UPs during the course of the game.

Can't be sure, it was probably a used game, old by the time i got it. Didn't have new tech or games, when i was a kid. Just too young to know though. Enjoyed the games still.
