Have you ever used Rockmelt browser?
I love Facebook for keeping up with my friends. So i set my Skype to be integrated with Facebook, so now i see when my Facebook friends are online. But when i work on my second computer in the TV room, (as i'm doing now, so that i can watch TV and post at the same time), it's not compatible with Skype and I can't go to Facebook cause the site runs scripts that bind up my computer. So i feel completely cut off from Facebook.
So today i started using Rockmelt browser. It's really cool.
Rockmelt has built in Facebook feeds so i can read new updates from friends (as well as messages) without visiting Facebook. And, i can see which Facebook friends are online and they can chat with me in Rockmelt browser, without going to go to the Facebook website. Of course, i have to login to Facebook just to run the browser, but that's only a minor thing.

Heard of it, but never really tried it. Not so much into Facebook and other social networks.

I use it as an alternate browser when Firefox is acting up. Also, sometimes i like to run Runescape on Firefox and post on forums on Rockmelt. I also have Avante and Opera and several others. I cycle between them depending on my mood and which one works that day.

For some reason, Chrome is not compatible with my older computer. Maybe the next new computer it will work better. But, for now, I use Rockmelt (and several other browsers as i need them) and Rockmelt is actually based on the Chrome operating system so it feels just like using Chrome but is compatible.

Re: Have you ever used Rockmelt browser?
Yes, it works very fast and crashes less for me than Chrome. Many browsers are based on the Internet Explorer browser, but Rockmelt is based on Chrome. You'd swear you are using Chrome when you first boot it up but it has the Facebook functionality built in. Of course, you can turn that off if you just want a browser for internet surfing/gaming.
