Yeah, even lyrics sites responded with blacking out.

Really, 35 senators opposing? What a success. Only 6 more.

It worked too. Now 35 senators are publicly opposing the bill. We need 41 to pass and before the blackout there were only 5.
Added that in a gross amount, roughtly 200 million people emailed congressmen to oppose the two bills. Not only that but we were actually noted as a small but noticed piece of signers that put "From GamersBin.com!" I thought that was the coolest thing ever and I thank everyone at GB.

Its finally here. The day that I've been waiting for. People are starting to rise and speak up for what they believe in for. They are tired of "big brother" always messing things up and rattling the world in ways that don't even really effect those that have caused the rucus. Its great that the blackout was a success in my eyes and just a little more hardwork could be the ending of the SOPA bill and more importantly a great stepping stone in internet history.

We all, the revolutionaries of our time, are apart of the next step in the revolution of gaming and freedom. Life without freedom and life where profiteers can get away without justice is a life I could not stand for.

NOPE! It's still there and being marked up in February. We're not done. Time will tell but we have to keep fighting until it is repealed and dead once and for all.

no, SOPA is down, but there is ACTA now. ACTA is Anti Counterfeiting Trade Agreement. If that steps this is what happens:

They would allow internet providers to monitor every step of yours online

They would stop online sharing by imposing criminal sanctions

They would have a major negative effect on free speech on internet.

Just google it and you will see.

Yeah. Many believed that SOPA is just a decoy for ACTA.
And according to what I have read, ACTA have a much heavier effect in the internet than SOPA and PIPA. It's like removing everyone's rights to use the internet.
