Re: Cat gets caught barking by a human and resumes meowing
I always wondered how they understand us? That is so amazing, but we will never know.

Re: Cat gets caught barking by a human and resumes meowing
So true! Even now, my oldest cat, Big Man, who runs our cat collection, is constantly trying to talk to me. If one of the little cats has done something wrong somewhere they shouldn't, he comes to me and meows loudly in a certain way and lets me know i should follow him. He's like a security guard, submitting constant updates and reports.

It would be even more awesome if it's small.

Re: Cat gets caught barking by a human and resumes meowing
Not anymore no, though i got him when he was maybe four weeks old; a stray outside a door, someone had just dumped him out to fend for himself. He's well over ten years old. Happy and sad about that, cuz cats don't usually live past 16 years. Every day he has with me now is golden time.

He deserves it really. He's the big boss of the house, policing the other cats, keeping law and order. And, i owe it to him. He was there before i had a kid, kept me from being lonely.
Yeah, he's really amazing. When i first got him, i'd cuddle him like a baby and talk to him while he slept. He was such a tiny kitten. He's always reminded me of my older brother, who passed many years ago, the way he was always looking out for me and protecting me. If there is such a thing as reincarnation, he'd be the closest thing i can imagine.
